UK’s zero emission bus deployment plans gain momentum

 

Transport for London has recently launched a tender for the bulk procurement of fuel cell buses. Working in partnership with other UK cities (Aberdeen, Birmingham, Dundee), TfL is inviting potential suppliers of fuel cell buses to join a framework for the supply of single and double decker vehicles to cities across the UK and potentially further afield.

The preliminary findings of two major studies on the main trends shaping the future of mobility in general, and of buses, coaches and taxis in particular, will be presented to key Indian public-private stakeholders in a workshop the IRU-led All-India High Level Group is organising in New Delhi on 9 May 2017.
