Russian self-driving shuttle bus ready for testing in 2017

NAMI, a Russian government-funded automotive research organisation, teamed up with Yandex - the company operating Russia’s largest search engine, Russian truck maker Kamaz and Daimler to build a driverless shuttle bus. The bus was already displayed at the Moscow International Automobile Salon and it is planned to have it tested on closed routes next year.

China’s Elevated Transit Bus on the road for its first test

The world’s first elevated transit bus has been recently tested in the Chinese city of Qinhuangdao in Hebei province. The 2m-high and 22m-long bus runs on electricity and can carry up to 300 passengers while cars can drive underneath it.
