Workshop only 9 days away! "Long distance bus and coach travel in Europe"

20 February 2012 - On 29 February, leading representatives from EU institutions, European member states, academics, and transport operators of long distance bus and coach lines will come together in Brussels to share best practices and examine the opportunities and challenges of expanding long distance travel by bus and coach across Europe.

This event will take place in Brussels, on the morning of the IRU/EU 2nd Road Transport Conference on "Efficient Solutions for Making Road Transport Greener" which will feature keynote speakers such as EC Vice-President and European Commissioner for Transport, Siim Kallas, and EU Transport Council President and Danish Minister for Transport, Henrik Dam Kristensen.

The IRU’s traditional Spring Cocktail will immediately follow the Conference to provide a dynamic and spontaneous environment to allow participants to network and continue the dialogue on which solutions could prove to be most effective in achieving better rather than more road transport. You won’t want to miss out!
