Smart Move, in partnership with Danske Busvognmaend and Eurolines, will be organising an event in Copenhagen, in the framework of the UN COP15 Climate Change Conference. It will take place on 15 December at the COP15 coach drop off area in Copenhagen at Artillerivej 154, 2300 København S Denmark (See Google map). In the programme:
- Bus and coach transport: the Smart Move to save 50 million tons of CO2 every year - the best kept secret yet! Oleg Kamberski, IRU Head of Passenger Transport & Patrick Van Impe, CEO Busworld
- Green & safe international bus lines, John Gilbert, CEO, Eurolines
- Operating the official COP15 bus line: the green way forward, Michael Brandt-Nielsen, CEO City-Trafik A/S
- Road transport industry’s pledge to cut 30% of its CO2 emissions by 2030, Jens Hügel, IRU Head of Sustainable Development
Interested journalists will be taken by VIP Coach, operating 100% on biofuel, to visit the premises of Vikingbus - a Danish State funded project for biofuel powered vehicle fleets.
