The Smart Move campaign was launched in Italy on 15 June 2011, on the occasion of a conference organised by the Italian National Road Passenger Transport Association (ANAV) and sponsored by the City of Rome and Italian Ministry of Transport.

An online survey conducted by Xiamen Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in May 2011, shows nearly 70% of citizens in Xiamen, China, rated the BRT service as “excellent” and “good”. The survey which involved 3,000 people mainly focuses on four areas: station staff services, hardware facilities; amenities and rush hour congestion.
