Buses & coaches make Papal Visit in the UK a success!During last week’s Papal visit in Great Britain, over 2,000 buses and coaches were mobilised in order to transport some 250,000 pilgrims that came to see Pope Benedict XVI at open air events in Glasgow, Birmingham and London. All the carefully-planned transport operations went without a hitch. A Church spokesman even praised operators by saying that the organisation was superb and that their pilgrims were conveyed to and from the Papal Mass punctually and in comfort.
“It has been a mammoth task but the hard work and dedication of our people over a short period of time has delivered,” National Express MD Andrew Cleaves said.
